Business Manager & Executive Assistant

Responsibilities
The role is responsible for driving business planning processes, supporting performance monitoring and enabling strategic decision making in collaboration with Department / Unit / Business Heads locally and cross-border with Head Office departments and functions.
The role also provides executive support to the General Manager, ensuring smooth coordination of leadership activities, stakeholder engagement, effective internal communication and timely follow up on key priorities and deliverables.
Finance
- Support the Branch’s annual and periodic business planning, budgeting and forecasting exercises.
- Assist to track financial and non-financial data to track branch performance against balanced performance scorecard, highlighting gaps and areas for improvement.
- Prepare management reports, dashboards and presentations for internal reviews and Head Office reporting.
Customer
- Coordinate with Departments to track customer-centric initiatives and service improvement plans.
- Assist the GM in preparing materials for customer engagement reviews, strategic partnerships and corporate presentations.
Process
- Assist the GM to monitor and follow up on execution and tracking of key strategic projects, aligned to Branch’s goals.
- Facilitate management routines such as performance reviews, offsite, townhalls and coordination meetings.
People
- Assist in resource planning, headcount management and capability development.
- Liaison between GM and Department/Business/Unit Heads to ensure clear alignment on expectations and cascading of messages.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Comply with all applicable regulations, rules, codes, guidelines and standards set by regulators and the Bank, and carry out duties with high integrity; and
- Adhere to all established risk control guidelines, procedures and measures to identify, assess, report, mitigate and monitor the risks involved in the day-to-day work.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold the highest standards of professional conduct in managing sensitive information and leadership matters.
Other
- Provides administrative support to the GM including calendar management, communication briefings and meeting coordination.
- Perform the duties of meeting secretariat in select committees and meetings hosted by the GM.
- Support the GM in review and preparation of business and thematic updates for management committee/board meetings.
- Undertake ad hoc responsibilities as assigned in support of the GM’s day to day running of the business.
Requirement
- University graduate, MBA/MA/MS preferable.
- Minimum of at least 5 years of related working experience, preferably in banking industry.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, leading and influencing diverse stakeholders (internal and external) across seniority levels.
- Self-motivated, result-oriented and able to work independently.
- Attention to details and able to multi-task and manage various projects and timelines.
- Excellent command in written and spoken English.
- Excellent presentation and communication skill.
